From Marnie's notebook. Note in the drawing of a Dartmoor rock meeting with a dancer's shoulder: the existence of a 'membrane' - the minisci - at the point where the air and skin intersect. A neverending exchange of information transfers between these elements (skin, air). Describing the vast richness of that information - or knowledge - is a focus of the Orr & Sweeney collaboration.
